WALKING DISTANCE FROM CHALETS - OVER THE CORRAN FERRY IN ARDGOUR

A 5 minute walk from the chalets northward along the pavement by the A82, is the slipway and terminal for the Corran Ferry. The ferry crosses Corran Narrows (the narrowest point of Loch Linnhe) continually throughout the day, and is free to pedestrians & cyclists. An inland ferry, the service connects 'mainland' Lochaber with the Ardgour, Morven & Ardnamurchan areas. Immediately on the Ardgour side are several outlets for food.

Please note that the last ferry back from the Ardgour side is at 9.20pm. (Miss this and you'd have a 42 mile journey around the loch to get back to Inchree!)
